Abereiddy Beach

North West Pembrokeshire, Berea, near St David’s, SA62 6DT

A sheltered, black shingle and pebble beach with the picturesque Blue Lagoon on the cliffs nearby, which is popular with coasteering enthusiasts. It’s a lovely spot for a picnic and a doggy swim but for a coastal treat follow the path from Abereiddy to Porthgain village and harbour (approx. 3 miles) via Traeth Llyfn beach. Alternatively take the longer trail in the other direction to Whitesands Bay (approx. 7 miles).

dog friendlyDog friendly all year!

A lovely cove for families with dogs, and also at the moment, free parking! Catering van offers good, fresh selection of food, snacks, ice creams and drinks. Lots of water activities take place here including the Red Bull diving series. Take part in coasteering, kyaking etc. Low tide great rock pools to the left of the beach. Nice for a BBQ as well.
