Pengelli Forest

North Pembrokeshire, Newport, near Fishguard, SA42

Pengelli Forest is a tract of ancient woodland lying to the north of the A487 trunk road between Eglwyswrw and Felindre Farchog which is owned and managed by the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales. It’s a beautiful reserve full of interesting flowers and plants, and alive with birdsong in the spring and summer. This historic woodland is well worth a visit if you love countryside walks – route map.
