Sandy Haven

Sandy Haven

South West Pembrokeshire, near Herbrandston, Milford Haven, SA73 3ST

Sandy Haven is a wide estuarial creek about  3 ½ miles west of the port of Milford Haven and easily accessable from either the St.Ishmaels or the Herbrandston side of the estuary. The beach is cliff backed and rocky but a wide expanse of sand is exposed at low tide and you can use the stepping stones to cross Sandy Haven Pill – make sure you keep an eye on the tide because if you leave it too late to cross back again it’s a 4 mile detour back to the car park.

  Dog friendly all year!
