South Pembrokeshire, Angle, SA71 5AZ
West Angle Bay is out on the western tip of the southern peninsular and if you’re driving there it may feel like the journey is taking forever, but the final destination is worth it. Angle itself is a sleepy, unspoilt village. The beach is a horseshoe cove with a proper seaside feel – sand, shells, rock pools and a cafe – which makes it a popular choice for families. The beach is quite narrow at high tide, but at low water reveals a huge stretch of golden sand which is perfect for dogs. A circular coast path walk takes you to East Angle Bay (approx 3.5 miles) returning through the village – route map. This is a lovely scenic walk on a fairly easy going path with just a couple of gentle inclines.
Dog friendly all year!
Free car park above the beach – SA71 5BE
