Colby Woodland Walk

South Pembrokeshire, near Amroth, SA67 8NQ

A great family dog walk is Amroth to Colby Lodge, which starts on the sea front in Amroth and follows a path north to Colby Woodland Garden which is owned by The National Trust –  route map. The walk mainly consists of open and wooded pathways and is approximately 2 miles long with the hardest climb being at the start. On reaching Colby Gardens the walk may be extended by following some of the other estate paths where walkers can enjoy an array of flowers and shrubs with year round interest. Entrance to the formal gardens is restricted by opening times and a small fee. Dogs are not allowed in the walled garden.
