Monkstone Beach

South Pembrokeshire, New Hedges, near Tenby, SA69 9DL

Nicely nestled between Saundersfoot and Tenby, Monkstone is reached via a set of steep steps with access from a either a permissive path through Trevayne Farm (off the B4316 near New Hedges) or from the coast path. It’s a very picturesque beach, great for dogs with plenty of sand for games and off lead fun. At very low tide it’s possible to walk from Monkstone to Saundersfoot along the shore with Glen Beach en route, the cut-off point being just the other side of the headland.
