Penally Beach

Penally Beach

South Pembrokeshire, Penally, near Tenby, SA70 7PS

An extension of Tenby South Beach, Penally is sand and shingle backed by powdery dunes. If you park at the railway station, access is via a tarmac path passing the golf course and MOD firing range (quiet except when a red flag is flying). Penally is very popular with dog walkers, especially in the summer when dog restrictions are in force on the Tenby beaches. There is easy access to the coast path westwards to Lydstep (approx. 2 miles), a pleasant walk on mostly level terrain with panoramic views.

  Dog friendly all year!
