South Pembrokeshire, Skrinkle, Manorbier, SA70 7TT
This hidden gem is accessed via the coast path between Skrinkle Haven and Manorbier. The lack of beach side facilities means the beach is often deserted so it’s a great location for anyone craving quiet from noisy tourists, but for you and your dog to take full advantage of this lovely sandy beach it’s only worth visiting at low tide. There are some 165 steps down and it’s a bit of a scramble at the bottom as there are some large rocks and boulders to negotiate so not suitable for less agile dogs or their owners.
Some walking is required from whichever point you approach the beach, but the closest access is at Skrinkle through a field on the perimeter of a MOD site. Otherwise it’s a pleasant walk along the coast path (approx. 20 mins) from Manorbier.
Dog friendly all year!
