South Pembrokeshire, Stackpole, near Pembroke, SA71 5LS
Stackpole Quay is a tiny harbour nestled in amongst the cliffs. It’s a favourite venue for kayakers as well as scuba divers due to the sheltered launch and clarity of waters. It’s also the ideal starting point for walks on the cliffs. From here you can follow an easy path over the cliff top to Barafundle Bay, home to a beautiful sandy, sheltered beach. Footpaths continue to Broad Haven Beach and the Bosherston Lily Ponds, a series of man-made lakes which are very visitor friendly. Alternatively you can take the coast path east to Freshwater East, but however you find your way to Stackpole it’s the perfect spot for a doggy swim and refreshments.
Dog friendly all year!
