South Pembrokeshire, Jameston, near Manorbier, SA70 8QP
Situated between Freshwater East and Manorbier Bay and only accessible from the coast path, Swanlake Bay is predominantly shingle but at low tide it reveals golden sands and rock pools backed by deep red cliffs. It’s a genuine refuge from summer crowds as this beach can be deserted even in the summer due to its lack of easy access, and is the ideal location for agile dogs and owners to have some fun swimming and exploring.
Dog friendly all year!
Access from the road is through Swanlake Bay Farm Guesthouse – SA70 8QP. Nominal charge may apply. Alternatively, park at Manorbier and walk along the coast path (approx 1 ½ miles).
