Wisemans Bridge

South Pembrokeshire, Saundersfoot, near Tenby, SA69 9AU

Wiseman’s Bridge has a sandy beach with a pebble bank above the tide line and a wooded valley behind. From here you can take a gentle stroll along the old railway line inland through Pleasant Valley leading to the old Stepaside Ironworks – route map. The sheltered woods are a nice contrast to the open beach but if you prefer to stick with the coast, head west to Saundersfoot using the old railway tunnels with Coppet Hall on route.

The tide was out and there was so much room to run and play, followed by a drink in the pub. Also the walk into Saundersfoot is nice and flat and easy especially after a day exploring. There is also a nice little shop and cafe at Coppet Hall with benches overlooking the sea.
