Solva & Gwadn
West Pembrokeshire, Solva, near St David’s, SA62 6UT
Solva has one of the prettiest harbours in Pembrokeshire and at low water when sand is exposed it’s possible to walk round the headland to the idyllic cove of Gwadn. When the tide is in take the eastern coast path from the harbour up and over the Gribin headland – a very enjoyable walk with magnificent views from the top. There is a steep descent to Gwadn – route map – but it’s a heavenly place and the valley behind is good dog exploration territory. If you prefer something more sedate then wander along Trinity Quay for a spot of boat and people watching or head into the village to visit the cafés and galleries.
Dog friendly all year!
Parking at Solva harbour – SA62 6UT. Charges apply in high season.
