Solva & Gwadn Beach

West Pembrokeshire, Solva, near St David’s, SA62

Solva harbour doesn’t have a beach except at low tide when sand is exposed and it’s possible to walk round the headland to Gwadn beach. When the tide is in take the eastern coastal path from the harbour up and over The Gribin headland – a very enjoyable dog walking experience with magnificent views from the top. There is a steep descent to Gwadn – route map – but the crystal clear water is perfect for a swim and the valley behind is good dog exploration territory.  Alternatively take the Ninewells Walk west.

NOTE: Please be aware that livestock graze in the surrounding fields.
